WSOP 2006 - Day 13 - Friday 28th July - Gareth needs a curry

So the first day of the main event is here. It is carnage inside the main hall when James Garner kicks off the first days play.
I am playing tomorrow but Gareth is up today. There is a bit of a fiasco over shirts but things soon settle down.
My job for the day is to ensure that we have dinner at the "Gaylord" curry house in the Rio casino. For full report see Gareths blog (link to the right).

Abandon Gareth after dinner and just scrape into the Venetian $175 tournament at 9.29. Have to play a cash game while waiting. Make $200 on the cash game but am knocked out after about 1 hour when AK hits TT. Net profit $25.
