My home games - the big game
This post is about the larger of the home games I play in. It takes place once a month with dates set to correspond to the time where one of the players is over in the UK.
We play pot limit hold 'em with blinds of £1 and £2. Minimum buy-in is £100, which can be topped up when a player has less than £50 in chips.
We usually play from 7.30pm to 1.00 am.
We also have a jackpot payable to any hand of 4 of a kind or better.
Players pay £20 into the pot at the start of each evening.

Result for the game Friday 16th June round Dave's new house - big and very nice but a bit short on furniture. The takeaway curry was good (I had a chicken vindaloo which wasn't at all bad). Anyway:

Result for the game Friday 14th July 2006 at Charlie's - end of a era given his impending house move. Still, you'd have thought the lazy b***ard would have got some alcohol in - we had to rely on Mark in the end. Pizza's were good, although my request for the World Cup special proved to be a blunder since it was a tad on the bland side. Oh yes, we played some wild (arguably verging on manic) poker too:
